This film will take you to a place where you feel and hear the silence, awaking your senses and making you feel that there is no difference between the bluest sky and the salt your standing on. You can find yourself connected to the great spirit of the Pachamama (Gaia). For natives this place is sacred, and exploitation of the salt flat contradicts all their ancient beliefs but by preserving the salt flats they are missing the opportunity to come out of poverty. The importance of the Uyuni's salt flats, being the largest Lithium reserve in the planet and also represent the refuge for endangered fauna such as the andine flamingos, but most important of all, the salt reflects the sun UV rays that protects the planet from the acceleration of climate change.

Esta narración nos enseña, que la inocencia puede llevarnos a cometer errores que se pagan con años de exilio de la sociedad. Doce valientes mujeres toman la cámara y nos cuentan sus vidas transportándonos a través de un viaje al corazón que terminó en la cárcel. Por amor, por engaño, por ignorancia y por miedo no pudieron evitar su sentencia y ahora nos dibujan cómo es la vida en el encierro, qué les motiva para seguir adelante, cómo se adaptan para sobrevivir a los terrores que tienen como mujeres, lo frágil que puede ser la libertad y lo difícil que es continuar la vida una vez afuera.

Un equipo de cineastas mexicanos deciden atravesar el mundo para ir en busca de uno de los últimos nómadas, capaz de guiar caravanas a través de un mar de arena y llevarlos a encontrar las pinturas rupestres más antiguas del mundo entre otras maravillas. Pero al llegar ahí se encuentran con un pueblo que ha sido expulsado de su país, una guerra que por no tener difusión en los medios, “no existe”. Tradiciones, experiencias e historia que se desvanece en el exilio.
Es una historia llena de magia y sentimiento, envuelta en los coloridos paisajes del gran desierto del Sahara, al norte de África. Este equipo logra atravesar los territorios liberados burlando 10 millones de minas, temperaturas de hasta 60° centígrados y poca comida para atestiguar las riquezas de un gran pueblo, su cultura, su gente, su tragedia y sus semejanzas con nosotros.

Exhibido en el Laboratoria Arte Alameda 18 días y la 2da muestra de mujeres en el cine y la tv en la cineteca nacional. Nos enseña a una mujer afectada por bulimia y anorexia.
