DIRECTOR

I'm interested in the mind and its functioning. Almost all my projects have a message, a mission, either share other people experiences, create awareness or give a message to reflect on.

As an independent filmmaker in a country like Mexico, it's been a really big challenge to complete each film, even though efforts are made to improve opportunities, until 2013 only 16% of the filmmakers managed to make the second film, and only 6% of them were women according to the IMCINE yearbook.

Independent films that are not associated with Institutions are poorly promoted, so it's even harder to make public this kind of product. However, my films have reached places I never imagined, they have helped incarcerated people, they've been used to teach in schools, they've given power and voice to so many people. Plays and puppets shows have been staged in Argentina and New York based in my films. That's the mission for me as a director: to move, surprise, help, extend a virtual hand to those who are ready and create a better world using the imagination.

So, if you have something to tell, let's work!
